How To Choose The Right Hair Extensions
Have you ever spotted a woman on the street and instantly knew that she had extensions in her hair? The fear that others will notice the extensions is one of the more common reasons why women avoid buying hair pieces. When you pick a color and style that closely resembles the look of your natural hair, no one else will know that you have the pieces on.
Think About Color
One of the first things you need to think about is color. Though you can choose from extensions made from human hair or synthetic hair, you really want to find extensions that closely match the natural or dyed color of your hair. Hair pieces now come in every shade you can imagine, including more natural shades of brown and blond and fantasy shades of hot pink and neon green. Those brighter colors can act as highlights in your hair, but if you want a more natural look, make sure that the color matches or blends with your hair color.
Consider Style & Length
One reason why some hair extensions tend to look fake is because the wearers don’t consider the style or length of those pieces. Wearing extensions that are slightly shorter or longer than your natural hair is a clear sign you added a hair piece. When you shop hair extensions, choose pieces that are just as wavy, kinky, curly or straight as your own hair. Wearing the right extensions will leave your friends and coworkers wondering how you have such think natural hair.
Useful tips, I’ve always been curious about hair extensions, but I’ve never actually tried them myself.
