15 Things Every Man Needs In His Closet
Once you come of age, there are certain things that belong in your closet and no, that does not include that holey pair of SpongeBob boxers that you bought at the thrift store years ago! You may love them, but trust me, women won’t! So if you want to impress your date rather than have her say, “uh, sorry but I just remembered that I need to wash my hair” and promptly run screaming from your home, you should invest in some fashion must haves. Now that you are a man, you should start acting and dressing like one!
We understand that this can be difficult, so below we have provided you with a list of 15 things you should keep in your closet!
1. Button Down Dress Shirts
Nice dress shirts are a must have. They are perfect for dates, job interviews, and outings on the town.
2. Slacks
We understand that they can be itchy and uncomfortable, but you can’t wear jeans with the button down dress shirts. Sorry!
3. Collared Shirts
These are great for casual outings and low key dates. Your date will be even more impressed if she shows up for dinner and the collar is DOWN rather than “popped.”
4. A Tie
And no, not one that has cartoons or funny sayings on it. Extra points for a silk gray tie!
5. Dress Shoes
For special events that require you to look presentable and professional.
6. A Dress Jacket
You can’t throw on your favorite sports jacket and walk into the professional business world or on a classy date and expect it to work.
7. A Pair of Nice Jeans
Now we aren’t asking you to go out and buy an expensive pair of jeans, but we are asking you to buy a pair that is not riddled with holes!
8. Khakis
There is a difference between khaki pants and cargo pants; if they have pockets all over, they are a no go! There is no need for all those pockets. I mean, really, if you need to carry that much stuff you might as well buy a purse.
9. A Nice Pair of Tennis Shoes
Preferably ones that are not falling apart or covered in grass stains.
10. Socks, Boxers, and Undershirts That Aren’t Covered In Holes
We understand that they are comfortable, but trust us. You don’t want to undress in front of your date and the first thing she notices is a huge hole in your shirt or boxers.
11. Pajama Pants That Aren’t Covered In Cartoon Characters
While you might find your Spiderman pajama pants comfortable and stylish, your date won’t, so avoid an awkward slumber party by investing some striped, plaid, or plain color pajama pants.
12. Appropriate Boxers
Just like the pajama pants, you might find it funny that your boxers feature an elephant face on the front, your date may not. She will be much more likely to introduce herself to the elephant’s trunk if you are wearing plain boxers.
13. Dark Colored Socks
Your slacks will likely ride up at some point showing off some ankle, and plain white socks can throw off your entire look and clash with your shoes. (It’s a fashion thing, just trust us!)
14. Workout Clothes
Whether you work out or not, having some shorts and a shirt laying around not only provides you with something to talk about, but it can impress your date! Every woman loves a gym rat.
15. An Extra Plain T-shirt Or One With A College Logo
Bonus points if you have a shirt that has the logo of the college shirt you attended! These shirts are perfect for handing to slumber buddies when they don’t feel like digging around for their bra and tank tops.

Curious ako kung ano masasabi ng mga guys dito. :) Nice post sis.
I do think that every man needs at least one set of custom made suit jacket. It’s so hard to find the perfect one that would look good on a man, especially for Filipino men who has a different built.
